Daily maintenance of slag tank, Three ways

KUNFENG® steel casting factory will introduce to you the daily maintenance operation of the slag tank:

1. Preliminary preparation: make sure that there is no residual water in the slag tank to prevent blasting in the burning process;  square the slag tank, add a gasket at the bottom to prevent casting rolling;  pay attention to whether the valve switches are normal, and so on.

2. When finishing: the slag tank containing a small amount of steel slag, first beat the steel slag with a pneumatic pick, and then burn it with oxygen;  for the slag tank with more steel slag, beat the steel slag with a furnace dismantling car and burn it with oxygen.

3.  Post-treatment: the tank body is intact and protruding, and a polishing machine is used for polishing;  cracks appear in the tank body, and then welding and grinding;  the tank body appears depressions, riveting and welding and polishing;  if there is a gap or perforation in the tank body, you can use materials of the same material to fill the gap and then polish it.
