Ductile iron slag pots slag tank

The slag pots (slag tank) contains the cold liquid metal into the mold cavity and the gas and residue mixed in it, eliminates the cold insulation, pores and slag inclusion of the casting, increases the local temperature of the mold to achieve the heat balance of the mold, increases the strength of the thin-walled casting, prevents mold deformation, and is provided with an ejector rod under the slag collection pots (slag tank), so that there is no jacking rod trace on the casting surface;  it can be used as a processing benchmark and a fixed part of clamping.

When the ductile iron slag pots is used, it is directly in contact with steel slag to bear high temperature baking, steel slag temperature, and steel breakout to undertake molten steel under abnormal conditions.  Under normal circumstances, the slag filling load is self-weight and slag weight, and the load increases sharply during breakout.  Once the steel is glued to the can, the heavy hammer is hit when the slag is cleared, and the destructive force.  The residual stress of the casting is cracked by cold and heat.  The source of residual stress: the wall thickness of slag filling pots are uneven, the difference is large, and thermal stress is formed in the cooling process.  The slag with high residual stress will crack quickly after cold and heat.  The process control of the production process is difficult, especially when the weight of the casting is more than 20T, the anti-decay, anti-segregation, anti-graphite floating and anti-stress crack are all strictly controlled.  Ductile iron cast iron slag pots has been widely used in slag pots production and has become an ideal material because of its superior usability.
