Slag filling is the equipment used to load steel slag before steelmaking furnace, which is used in harsh environment and changeable under heat.At the same time, it is required to have more times of use. The greater the slag pot volume, the greater the difficulty of casting. The slag pot is mostly used in the case of alternating cold and heat, so the quality requirements of the slag pot are quite high.Kunfeng Heavy Industry now has two kinds of cast iron slag pot and cast steel slag pot, slag pot is mainly used to contain metallurgical slag in metallurgical production, also used to load other metallurgical high-temperature materials. Therefore, the process and working conditions of casting slag pot are very complex and special.
Process preparation
After the drawing is reviewed by the technology department, the drawing is issued to the casting workshop, and the workshop technical department formulates the production process rules according to the relevant process rules.
Model production
1.Slag pot model making shall meet the requirements of drawing and related technical documents.
2.Where there is a technological requirement, the production shall be made according to the technological requirement, and where there is no such requirement, the production shall be made according to the general technical conditions of the modeler.
3.Model structure must be reasonable, durable, smooth and straight surface, drawing inclination according to requirements.
Modeling
1.Read and be familiar with the slag pot drawings, understand the type, material, weight, quantity and characteristics of the product blocks produced, understand the casting ruler, model edge opening, modeling core making method, casting riser position and quantity and other process requirements.
2.Check the geometric size, structure and surface quality of each part of the model against the drawing and process, and check whether the center line of the model is consistent with the center line of the mold plate.
3.Select the appropriate sand box, arrange the molding parts in strict accordance with the process drawing and procedure operation rules, and carry out the sand collision, demoulding, mold repair and core making, etc.
4.Use special resin sand coating on the coating, the coating must be stirred before use, coating brushing requirements smooth, uniform thickness. After brushing the coating, the sand mold and sand core are dried in the kiln in strict accordance with the technical requirements.
5.Check whether the sand mold has cracks or damage, close the box in strict accordance with the operating procedures
Melting and pouring
1.All kinds of raw and auxiliary materials entering the workshop shall be reviewed and judged qualified by the quality inspection department before use. The chemical composition standard of raw and auxiliary materials shall meet the standard of counterweight raw and auxiliary materials.
2.According to the standard, the raw material proportion of the required material counterweight block is carried out, and the sample of molten iron is taken for spectral analysis. After the result is qualified, the casting is carried out. If the result is not qualified, the ingredients shall be adjusted until normal, and then the casting is carried out.
3.In strict accordance with the operation procedures and technical requirements of the pouring process, and record the pouring time and pouring temperature.
Refined
1.Remove the sprue, fly-edge, etc., and do not injure the body of the weight block during removal.
2.Polish all the surfaces of the counterweight block, the edges and corners of the counterweight block are clear and the surface is smooth and clean. According to user's requirement, the slag pot surface defects within the tolerance range are processed.
3.Casting finished product inspection, all the dimensions and weight of the first inspection products, and relevant component analysis and performance test,after the first inspection, the follow-up production will be carried out.
