Many manufacturers who process large-scale steel castings will use slag pots in the process of producing castings, so what are the key points needed when using slag pots?

1. It is necessary to prepare in advance before use to ensure that there is no residual moisture in the slag pot and prevent blasting in the burning process; the slag pot must be laid flat, and there should be iron blocks at the bottom, mainly to prevent the slag pot from rolling; oxygen is a more flammable gas, so check whether the valve is normal or not in advance.

2. the matters that must be paid attention to when finishing: pig liver with less steel slag, knock down steel slag with a pneumatic pick, and then burn it with oxygen. If it is a slag pot with more steel slag, hit the steel slag with a furnace dismantling car, and then burn it with oxygen.

3, after the completion of the process, the work to be dealt with, if the body of the slag pot is intact, the raised part can be polished; the tank body is cracked, open the clip, the welding should be firm and polished; the tank body has depression defects, riveting, welding and polishing; the tank body is perforated or missing, fill the gap with materials of the same material, and then polish.
