What is the scrap standard for slag pots?

Slag pots are mainly used to hold metallurgical slag in metallurgical production, as well as other metallurgical high-temperature materials. Therefore, the process and working conditions of casting slag pot are very complex and special. Slag pot is the equipment for loading steel slag in front of steelmaking furnace. its use environment is bad and its heating is changeable. At the same time, it is required to have a high number of use, the larger the volume of the slag pot is, the greater the casting difficulty is. Most of the slag pots are used under the condition of extreme cold and extreme heat alternating with each other, so the quality requirements of the slag pot are quite high. 

The slag pot, also known as the slag pot, is to accommodate the cold liquid metal into the mold cavity and the gas, residue mixed in it, eliminate the cold insulation, pores and slag inclusion of the casting, increase the local temperature of the mold to achieve the heat balance of the mold, increase the strength of the thin-walled casting, prevent mold deformation, and set up an ejector rod under the slag collection pot(slag landler), so that there is no jacking rod trace on the casting surface; it can be used as a processing benchmark and a fixing part. 

Standard for scrapping of slag pots: 

1 crack at the root of the trunnion of slag pot. 

2 cracks in tank bottom and tank wall. 

(3) the earshaft of the slag pot is warped seriously. 

(4) the tank wall and mouth are seriously deformed. 

(5) the steel sticking of the slag pot is seriously unable to clear out and use.
