Because the slag pot is often used in the case of bad cold and heat, the working environment is bad, the heating is varied, and the use times are frequent, so the larger the capacity of the slag pot is, the more difficult it is to cast, so the quality requirements for it are relatively high.
1. During production, large foundry manufacturers will repeatedly review and design the manufacturing process of slag pots according to their working principles, and then distribute them to the foundry workshop, and finally the workshop will formulate the production process according to the necessary technological process.
Second, to make the mold, the reasonable structure, durability, smooth surface and draft angle are required to be made according to the requirements of large steel castings-slag pot.
Third, the workshop begins to shape, make the appropriate sand box, arrange the modeling parts strictly according to the process drawing and process operation rules, and carry out sand impact, demoulding, mold repair, core making, etc.; finally, check whether the sand mold is cracked or damaged, close the box strictly according to the operation rules.
Fourth, large foundry manufacturers will carry out various repeated tests and tests on the raw materials for smelting, and require the material counterweight to match the raw materials, sample for spectral analysis, and pour after the results are qualified; finally, pouring shall be carried out in accordance with the process operation rules and process requirements.
Fifth, carry out finishing and finished product testing. Cut off the excess riser, polish the surface of the slag pot to make it smooth, and finally test the size and weight of the finished product.
