How to achieve the excellence of the slag pot?

In the process of producing slag pots, the casting spirit of pursuing excellence has been pursued by the steel casting manufacturers. Before the slag pot production, the manufacturer uses CAE casting simulation software to digitally simulate the whole pouring process, through which the molding process of the product is analyzed and the quality is tested, optimize the steel casting process to reduce the rejection rate and production costs.

In the formal production because the slag pot has a large shape, wall thickness, and requires that the inner surface of the slag pot must be smooth, no more than 5mm convex and concave defects, and the T-shaped bar connected with the tank without cracks, two ears must be concentric, level, the slag pot shall not have shrinkage, porosity, slag hole and other casting defects. Due to the difficulty of casting, slag pot for the process requirements are relatively high, the relevant operators also need to have some processing experience.

When the slag pot is out of the manufacturer, the manufacturer will tell you the matters needing attention in daily use. Before use, ensure that there is no residual water in the slag pot to prevent blasting in the burning process; Secondly, the slag pot must be laid flat, and the bottom should be padded with iron; In addition, we also need to pay attention to whether the valve switch is normal, etc. In use, when the slag pot high temperature metal solution, can not be overfilled (about 300mm from the tank edge), so as to avoid solution overflow and burn the shell, tank and trunnion. The factory also needs to organize a monthly comprehensive inspection of the slag pot body and trunnion to ensure that the slag pot has no quality problems.
